We have openings for leaders in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), as well as in Reimbursement, Pricing and Market Access. These individuals will collaborate with our tenured staff in multiple locations domestically and internationally. Candidates will have a background as a subject matter expert in this important field in various countries, and the therapeutic preference is for pharmaceutical or biologic products.

The ideal leader has the knowledge of health economics, modeling, market access and reimbursement. He/She has experience in preparing submissions, value dossiers, publications and other documents to support commercial activities in gaining access to patients. Additionally, this person is instrumental with commercializing products at all phases.
Skills/Experience RequirementsThe ideal leader has the knowledge of pricing methods, health economics and reimbursement. He/She has experience in preparing submissions, value dossiers, publications and other documents to support commercial activities in gaining access to patients. We have an interest in experts in all therapeutic areas from pharmaceutical products to medical devices.

Responsibilities include:

 Lead strategic direction to ensure funding and that Abbott products obtain and maintain optimal pricing, reimbursement status and listing on tenders while facilitating patient access to the best available treatment;
 Create Access / Payer Strategy covering market access, patient access, service redesign and product differentiation; and
 Work cross-functionally with senior management, commercial colleagues and medical affairs to generate and implement innovative solutions and services which result in excellent access for current and new biologic, pharmaceutical products and medical devices. Also work closely with Communication and Government Affairs and patient organizations on developing and implementing local health economic, communicative and publishing strategies
Education Requirements B.S. required  M.S. or MBA, preferred but not required
