accounting Coordinator: The position is housed in the Associated Students of the University of oregon (ASUO). A student funded organization, its purpose is to provide for the social, cultural, educational and physical development of its members, and for the advancement of their individual and collective interests both within and outside the University. The ASUO is responsible for allocating approximately $13 million in student incidental fees. Approximately $5 million relates to budgets for student groups and contracts, which is the direct responsibility area of this position. The Accounting Coordinator oversees and ensures timely and accurate completion of all financial and payroll transactions; serves as a financial/payroll information resource to ASUO’s student leadership, student staff, and 180 student organizations, and supervises a team of student controllers. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years professional accounting, auditing and financial analysis experience, and 2 years supervisory experience.
